| Chamber adds new Board Member Scott Elliot of National City Bank is the newest member of Maplewood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Scott is a Retail Development Associate and enrolled in the Management Training Program at National City Bank. He currently serves on the Ambassador Committee and was involved in the Taste of Maplewood. Scott's energy and enthusiasm will make him a great addition to the Chamber Board. |

| Are you getting the most out of your Chamber Membership?
You finally did it. You joined the Maplewood Chamber of Commerce. NOW WHAT? Joining the Chamber will grow your business only if you take advantage of its services, relationships and benefits. Your Chamber membership is like a gym membership—it works for you if you work at it. The mere act of joining a gym does not automatically mean you will lose those 20 extra pounds. Just as the gym provides an energizing atmosphere, proper equipment, diverse classes and members with a common goal, so does the Chamber offer diverse networking venues, promotional benefits, camaraderie, and opportunities to meet other like-minded business people. While what you may "get" out of the Chamber may not be exactly what another member "gets," everyone benefits from belonging to the Chamber in different ways accordingto the spedfic needs of their business. If you're not sure where to start, contact the Chamber. Also, make sure to let us know what's on your mind. We cannot speak or act for you, or any other business unless we know that there is a concern. Remember, that your chamber membership is an investment. The more you put into your investment, the more you will get out of it. |
